Hudson (courtesy post)
Hudson, a 1 1/2 year old St. Bernard/Leonberger mix is currently available from OC Shelter Partners. This is the information they have provided about Hudson:
HUDSON is approximately 1 1/2 yrs old. He is house trained and crate trained (crate must be clipped shut or he will get out). He is in a foster home with teenage children (because of his size and energy children 10 or over would be best) no cats for this guy. Hudson is a big, goofy boy who loves attention, cheese and stuffed doggie toys and a good bone. He has been learning how to play fetch and is catching on okay. He would do best if someone were home most the time, as he has a little anxiety and he is very afraid of fire works and thunder. Even though Hudson is in a foster home with multiple other large dogs, he is not loose with them (crate and rotate). When he first arrived he had fho surgery and he didn't seem all to friendly with the other dogs (i.e. growling and barking at them from his crate) however over time he actually seems like he may be okay with a submissive female and proper introductions. However Hudson had some leash aggression issues which made intros out of the question or even going to the vet a struggle. He is currently in board and train working on his leash issues and is making progress.
He is currently with OC Shelter Partners. Interested parties please rollout application at ocshelterpartners.org
The adoption fee is $400.
