Bayer (forever name Bear)
Bayer was originally thought to be a Saint Bernard / Beagle cross, but as he's grown, looks more like a tri-color Boxer/Beagle cross instead of a St. Beagle. Still, he has beautiful markings, huge feet and a prancing personality. He plays like a big dog and sounds like a beagle. This guy is VERY playful and will play with other dogs and puppies until he literally drops from fatigue. At approximately 10 weeks old, he was already fully house trained and can sit, shake, come, and lay down on command unless he gets distracted. His attention span so far is super short, but he's a curious little guy so you can't blame him! He is very gentle with cats and small children. He is fearless and spunky, will tip the water bowl if the option is given. He adores squeaker toys and will spend HOURS gnawing them, but is not destructive. He's also a big bone-chewer, but has not shown much interest in chewing other stuff in the house. He underwent surgery to correct a cherry eye. This wonderful boy wanted nothing more than to have a family to love, and that wish came true when the Pletts family adopted him. Wish wish you all all love and happiness with you this bundle of joy.
