Bentley
1 year old Bentley was surrendered to Sunny Saints by a family facing medical issues and is a young, loving, happy boy. Bentley settled right in with his foster family which included a 5 year old child. He bonds with adults and children alike, though if adopted by a family, would be best-suited for school-aged or older children who have experience with big dogs. At 112 pounds and just a year old, he's a big, young pup that will continue to grow and will mellow as he matures, but in the meantime may knock little ones over in his exuberant play. Bentley is house trained, knows basic commands like "sit" and "down" and is accustomed to being on-leash, though can give some strong pulls at times. Given his young age and fast-growing size, early and consistent obedience training would be important. He is shy with new people at first and likes to meet new folks one on one, but then warms up. He loves other dogs and making new canine friends, playing on the beach and at enclosed dog parks, and can't get enough of squeaky toys. Bentley is just a moderate drooler and even play fetch! He likes to be around his people, so would love to be adopted by a family that has someone at home with him to keep him company. The lucky family who adopts Bentley will have a loving new family member in no time at all.
