Berkley
Berkley, who is around a year old (may be younger due to growth plates visible in his front legs) is a sweet dog that was rescued from a local shelter where he had been picked up as a stray. He loves all people, but is very choosy about the dogs that he likes. He learned to enjoy the company of the small dog in his first foster home, and is now in a foster home with several dogs of all sizes that he is being integrated into, but introductions need to be done slowly for Berkley to be receptive to new canine friends. Due to this reason, he may be better as an only dog or with a very dog savvy owner who understands the importance of proper introduction techniques. His ideal owner will be a strong leader who can teach him his manners as he grows into adulthood. He is not going to be an XL Saint, but currently weighs about 120 pounds. He is a beautiful boy that is housebroken and enjoys long walks to burn off his puppy energy.
