Bernice (forever name Hollywood)
Bernice was saved from a very high-kill shelter in a central California farming community and brought to Sunny Saints, a very sick (with kennel cough), exhausted and scared puppy. When she became a Sunny Saint she was estimated to be between 7 and 9 months old and needed a great deal of rest to recuperate from the kennel cough. Once she was feeling better she was spayed and ready for adoption. During her stay with her Foster family her sweet disposition shined through. She got along well with little dogs and the Foster’s toddler and infant. Bernice was adopted by the Swan family, who have renamed her “Hollywood” and all of us at Sunny Saints wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
