Big Max Wellington
We are sorry to report that Big Max Wellington passed away suddenly shortly after being adopted. Run free, sweet boy.
Big Max actually isn't all that big in the world of Saint Bernards, weighing approximately 120 pounds, but he's very fluffy and stocky which gives him a bigger look. In his prior life, 9 to 10 year old Max was a registered emotional support dog that went everywhere with his person and took his job very seriously. He is having a lot of trouble understanding that he can no longer always "go", so needs a new person who can take him to work with them, or works from home as Max can become destructive when left alone. He does well with other dogs and cats socially, but would prefer being the only pet in the house and getting all of your attention. Older kids are great, for Max, but smaller kids may be too "in your face" for this boy. He is good on or off leash, knows his obedience commands, has wonderful public manners, is housebroken and loves everyone that he meets. He can show some food aggression toward other animals if they crowd him as he eats so another good reason to be an only pet in the house.
We adopted Big Max out about 3 years ago, but his owner's health declined and she had to return him to us to find him another home to call his own.
