Bo-Winkle (forever name George)
Bo-Winkle was found as a stray and after an extensive and fruitless 2 week search for his family is now being offered for adoption. Our best guess is that he is between 3 and 4 years old, is neutered and will be brought up to date on all his shots and microchipped prior to being adopted. He is a very tall and slim boy who is super sweet and mellow and enjoys the company of people and dogs of all sizes. He is non-reactive to cats on walks, so will probably be fine living with cats as well. He is completely trustworthy in the home. The only negative that we have found where Bo is concerned is that he can and will jump a 6 foot fence with ease, so a secure yard, possibly with an electronic fence will be mandatory for his next home. None of that deterred Emily from adopting this sweet boy and we just know they will be very happy together. Welcome to the Sunny Saints family!

I thought I'd send you some photos of George in Berkeley. He is SUCH a good boy - he had a little bit of separation anxiety at first (totally understandable!), and would bark and cry when I had to leave him, but he got over it really quickly. He's all settled in now, and has turned my closet into his own private den, as you'll see in one of the pictures. He loves walking around the campus, chasing squirrels and getting lots of attention from all the stressed-out students - he makes a great therapy dog. :) Sometimes I bring him into my office, too (first picture); the department secretaries go nuts over him! And recently I've started taking him on off-leash walks in the Berkeley hills with his buddy, Oscar (the Great Dane/pit bull mix in the last picture). He loves it!

I thought I'd send along some photos of George from our trip to Yosemite this weekend. Unsurprisingly, he loved the snow! (Not to mention all the attention he got from the other tourists.) He's also doing great in general - he's gained about 20 pounds since November, which is awesome! The vet says he still has another 20 or 30 to go, but we'll get there. He's so much fun to have around - I can't tell you how happy I am to have this big bear in my life!
