Coco Chanel (CC)

CC is a small, sweet Saint that now weighs almost 90 pounds.  She knows her commands and wants to please.  She loves her face being rubbed and then of course, you can't forget the tummy loves!  CC was rescued from a shelter after having been hit by two cars in separate incidents and her previous owners didn't take her to a vet.  Her tummy is badly scarred from road rash from the first incident that left her skin looking as though it was burned.  The second accident left her with a mangled foot and deep gashes on her legs.  She has been undergoing laser treatments to encourage healing of her wounds and what was a total degloving of her foot, now has skin and fur is growing back.  Two of her toes will always be larger than the others, but the vet has declared her fit for adoption.  CC loves people and has a bit of separation anxiety when left home alone, so her perfect family would have someone home most of the time.  She gets along with other dogs, but wants to be the Alpha dog in the home.  She is learning her manners with cats, greets the goats and donkey in her foster home every morning without incident and hasn't quite figured out why chickens run around all the time.  She is housebroken, loves to go on hikes, rides in the car like a dream and has just discovered that Milk Bones are one of her very favorite things in the world.
