Daryl

Daryl is a 14 month old, special needs Sunny Saint! He is a very sweet cuddle bug that has elbow dysplasia. At 7 months, he had corrective surgery on both his elbows and will have a limp for the rest of his life. As he reaches maturity he may need revision surgery. His activity level must be monitored and restricted and he needs to take daily joint supplements, and may need anti-inflammatory and pain medications at times as well.. He loves to go for walks, but those must be very short. He has been taught to slide off of the couch and bed, not jump, and that should be encouraged in his forever home.  Daryl does well with other dogs, but it would be best if other dogs in the home are not overly playful.  Daryl is scheduled for his neuter surgery on April 8 and will be available for adoption after he has healed from the surgery.
