Dixie (forever name Aurora)
Dixie is an 8 week old Saint Bernard puppy that is current on her puppy shot series, had her dew claws removed and will receive the remainder of her shots, be microchipped and be spayed at the appropriate time. She has been placed with a family on a foster-to-adopt basis until she has been spayed, at which time, the adoption will become finalized.
Sunny Saints had a litter of 8 Saint Bernard puppies born into rescue on October 4, 2013 just 2 days after taking in their very neglected, overbred and emaciated mother who was medically unable to care for them. These puppies were hand raised and bottle fed by volunteers, round-the-clock from day one, so are highly socialized to people. They had 3 "auntie" Saints in their foster home who took them under their protective "wings" and taught them how to be good dogs too.
Sunny Saints maintains a waiting list of approved adopters for the few puppies that we have come into our rescue. If you would be interested in adopting a future puppy from Sunny Saints, please fill out and submit an online adoption application. You will be contacted shortly and your application processed, but prepare to be patient as we never know when we'll have puppies available.
