Dolly
Well HELLO Dolly! Dolly (originally we had called her Daphne, but Dolly suited her much better) and another Saint were abandoned in a local dog park and were found by a good Samaritan at 2:00 in the morning. Luckily for everyone, that good Samaritan took both the Saints home with him and called Sunny Saints at a reasonable hour later that day to report his discovery. Posters were put up near the dog park and at local shelters, and ads were placed in an attempt to find their owner/s. To nobody's surprise, their owners did not claim them, so Sunny Saints was free to find them loving forever families that would never dump them off like that again. Everyone loves Dolly and Dolly loves everyone! She likes people, chickens, goats, and other dogs, though she was still trying to figure out kitties when she was with her Foster family. She was always most happy when there was a routine that she understood and a safe place of her own to go to in order to hang out, sleep, or just to chill. Dolly always enjoyed a good feed and would clean her bowl and then want Milk Bones or treats for desert. She loved to run along her Foster’s fence and chase cars, so a secure yard was an absolute MUST when considering an adopter. It was that fence time however, that introduced her to her future dad! The street in front of her Foster home was under construction, when one of the workmen spotted this gorgeous dog and fell in love with her! His family heard all about Dolly from dad, so they put in an application and were fortunately the perfect fit! We wish the Michel's all a lifetime of happiness together with Dolly!
