Duke

3 year old Duke was an unclaimed stray that was found wandering the streets in Orange County. He has gained 10 pounds in foster care, but still has another 30 or 40 to gain. His skin and coat were very dry and flakey due to poor nutrition, but is improving daily. He is a gentle giant of a guy, good with all other dogs that he has met, ignores cats and loves all people. He is housebroken, calm and well mannered, knows his basic obedience commands and is learning to walk well on the leash. He is a drooly guy, so if you don't like slobber, he's not the guy for you. He's very eager to please and absolutely adores his foster mom who says if she weren't leaving for school next semester, she would adopt him ... he is her favorite of all the Saints that she has fostered for us (and that is quite a few)! The family who is lucky enough to adopt Duke will have a devoted family member in no time at all.
