Hank (forever name Bernie)

Hank was approximately 1 to 1-1/2 years old (a very tall boy who still needed to fill out in his maturity… and weight) when we rescued him from a local shelter after being picked up as a stray. His original family contacted the shelter and for a week told them that they were coming to get him, but they never did, so the shelter called us after they missed their deadline for claiming him. Hank is a very sweet boy that loves to play and get belly rubs and while he was with his Foster he worked on his basic obedience manners and a bit of leash work as he would get excited and pull on a walk. In the slideshow (above) you will see a picture of Hank with his new Mom, Betty Harvey! He has been renamed “Bernie” and has a kitty for a brother (even though he wasn't sure he really wanted that kind of brother). So, after some training with a personal trainer everyone is co-existing and happy! In his new home he also has a 2 legged sister who is going to UCLA and a Mom & Dad that are taking him everywhere!! Congratulations to Bernie and his forever family!
