Hope
Hope came to Sunny Saints as an emaciated, neglected dog that was just days from death. In a matter of 6 weeks of loving foster care and constant medical supervision, Hope went from 64 pounds to 108 pounds, from internal organs on the verge of completely shutting down, to all tests falling within normal limits! Hope now weighs 130 healthy pounds and is ready to find her forever home! Hope is a sweet, loving girl that is so thankful to have been saved from her former existence. She loves everyone that she meets! She is picky about what other animals she likes, however, so it may be better if there are no other pets in the home. Hope requires a strong leader who will be loving but firm with her. She is fully house trained and has absolutely no food aggression whatsoever.
Update: August 30, 2013 (via Hope's foster mom Kristina)
She is doing absolutely amazing! She has settled very well with us, all my friends and neighbors love and adore her as much as I do so there is always a hand to give her tummy rubs and big hugs. She hasn't acted out at all and we are trying really hard to teach how to play. At this point her pile of treats and toys rivals my son's.
You've done amazing wonders with her and she is so well loved in our home. Your letter touched us all and we are making her her very own blanket with your letter to be ironed onto fabric and proudly displayed in the middle as a tributes to you who helped her come so far. Thank you for everything! Your guidance and love gave us the most amazing addition to our family!
