JR (forever name Bartholomew)

This extraordinary boy needs someone special to call his own. We rescued J.R. from a breeding kennel in the Inland Empire when the owner passed away. J.R. is a sweet dog and has slowly learned what life outside a kennel is all about. He is estimated at 4 years of age and is very sweet and shows absolutely no aggression toward anyone or anything. He had no experience with living indoors before coming into foster care and prefers being outside. He will come inside for short visits, but does want to sleep outside. Typically we insist that our dogs be indoor dogs, but may make an exception with the right adopter for J.R.  If you want to adopt a dog that truly needed to be "rescued", then J.R. is your man!
