Macho Man

Macho Man, approximately 4 years old, is a mellow guy who gets along well with all ages of people and large dogs, but is reactive to small dogs.  He was non-reactive to cats at the vet's office, but then we haven't tested him off-leash with cats.  Macho Man does not like getting head hugs (how would you like perfect strangers coming up and putting you in a head lock?) and prefers that you give him his space to get to know you in his own time and in his own way.  He has a HUGE head, and if you can't deal with drool, this is definitely NOT the dog for you!  He walks well on the leash and loads up and rides well in the car, jumping unassisted into a truck or SUV.  He has been learning his indoor potty manners at his foster home and is just about accident-free.  He could still stand to gain approximately 25 to 30 pounds, but is a good eater, so the weight should  be gained easily. If you would be interested in adopting a dog that will stop traffic (we've seen it happen!), then he's your man!
