Mary Lou (forever name Molly)
To quote Ricky Nelson, "Hello, Mary Lou, good-bye heart. Sweet Mary Lou, I'm so in love with you!" We feel that the lucky family who adopts Mary Lou will be singing this song every day! Mary Lou was rescued from a local shelter where she had been an unclaimed stray. She required and has undergone entropion surgery to save her eyesight and is expected to be released by her doctor and ready for adoption this week. She is approximately 4 years old and has an impressive block head, drools with the best of them, tree-trunk legs and huge paws. People stop to take a second look at this gorgeous example of a Saint Bernard. She is an alpha female so would do best in a home without other female dogs. She is being fostered in a home with a cat and two smaller dogs that she gets along great with.
