Monie

2 year old Monie came to us when she needed entropion surgery that her prior owner could not afford.  She has had her surgery and is doing very well in her foster home where she enjoys playing, taking baths and going for car rides.  Monie is a little spitfire of a Saint that weighs approximately 105 pounds and is high energy.  She would be a great hiking or jogging partner for an active owner, and may also enjoy doing agility for someone interested in training her.  She is very smart and alert and can tend to be protective of her home and people, so a strong leader would be the best match for her.  She gets along well with the teenaged kids in her foster home, but may not be suited to a home with small children.  She is an alpha female that requires slow introductions to other dogs, but really enjoys the company of large, submissive canine companions.  She tends to bark at small dogs and not interact with them.
