Nana (forever name Nala)
Nana was a 4 to 5 year old owner surrender to a local shelter because her family was moving and couldn't take her with them. When we came to rescue Nana from the shelter she laid down in front of the office where she had last seen her family and refused to leave (and had to be picked up and put into the car). She was so devoted to the family who left her that she was very confused by the changes in her life and it took her a couple of weeks to calm down and settle into her foster home where she made great friends with another female foster Saint and a small Bichon mix resident dog. She has very unusual markings (she may be a Saint Bernard/Bernese Mountain Dog cross) and is such a sweet girl who was already house trained and genuinely craved human contact and interaction. Fortunately for Nana, the Cammarano family fell in love with her and quickly provided her with her new forever home! She has been renamed “Nala” and we wish her and the Cammarano family all the health and happiness in the world together!
