Ojo (adoption pending)
Note: Ojo has recently been placed in a forever home and this adoption will become final soon.
8 month old owner surrender, Ojo, is one awesome puppy! Sweet, loving and eager to please! Like most puppies, she needs some work on jumping up on you and being mouthy, as well as chewing and digging but nothing some time and attention won't cure. Obedience training classes are a must! She is completely housebroken, will scratch at the door to be let out to do her business and has no accidents in her foster home since she got there.. She loves to play tug and to play with stuffies too. She can be a little overwhelming with small children, but older kids should be no issue at all. She gets along well with all other dogs. She will chase cats to try to play with them, so dog savvy cats would be okay. She still needs to be spayed and microchipped, so will be placed into a foster-to-adopt home at this time with the adoption becoming official at the time her spay is performed. Those on the puppy waiting list will be contacted and given priority on her adoption before new applicants will be processed or considered. If you would be interested in adopting a pup like Ojo (named after the cute little girl bear on the Disney TV show Bear in the Big Blue House), we recommend submitting your application and being pre-approved in advance of their coming into rescue.
