Penny

Penny (formerly named "Gracey" by the Castaic Shelter where we rescued her) was approximately 1 year old when Sunny Saints volunteer Debbie Quinn went to evaluate and rescue her from the shelter. Debbie knew immediately that Penny would make a great addition to any family because of her sweet disposition (she loves to cuddle and give kisses) and the way she got along with other dogs and kids (it didn’t hurt that Penny was already housetrained too). Debbie took Penny home with her to foster and then left on vacation a couple of days later entrusting Penny's care to another Sunny Saints foster. While away on vacation, Debbie couldn’t stop thinking about Penny and sent an e-mail before heading back in to town that she had fallen in love with Penny and that she was HER dog! So, the Quinn's (who also adopted Sunny Saints "Honey Bear") adopted Penny immediately upon their return from their vacation and we wish them all a lifetime of health and happiness together!
