Pippi (forever name Lexi)
Pippi was 2.5 years old when we rescued her from a local shelter and we quickly realized that she didn’t like little dogs who bark at her, or cats, and she was even afraid of the other large dogs in her foster home. When Pippi met with medium sized dogs (on a one-to-one basis) she didn’t seem to have any issues with them so we concentrated our search efforts on potential Forever families that either had no other dogs, or one medium sized submissive dog. Pippi is such a sweet girl who loves to give kisses and get cuddles and she is great with kids. She has lots of energy and acts more like a puppy than an adult dog, so we knew we needed to find a family who had kids and wasn’t looking to adopt a “slow, lumbering Saint.” Fortunately, the Buster family fit Pippi’s needs perfectly and she now has two adorable little children to love and protect for the rest of her life. We couldn't be happier for all of them! Welcome to the Sunny Saints family!
