Princess Zelda (forever name Keiko)

22 month old Princess Zelda is a super sweet girl. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. Her favorite toy is a person! Any person who will give her time and attention! Zelda currently weighs about 140 pounds, but her frame should support a healthy weight of about 110 pounds, so we have got her on a good grain-free food with limited treats and plenty of exercise to try to help her slim down. She came into rescue as an owner surrender and had a hot spot that extended from mid back to almost the tip of her tail which required that she be shaved down to properly treat. She had not been on flea preventative consistently, and it is thought that flea bites started the hot spot cycle. She is now hot-spot free and her hair is starting to come back, but her tail looks a bit like a cow's at this point instead of the fluffy flag that she will have again in the future. She was non-reactive with dogs when we took her in at PetSmart and has been living peacefully with a cat in foster care. She is trustworthy in the house, knows to go out to do her business and rides well in the car (but doesn't like getting into the car for the ride).
