Shrek (forever name Otis)

5 to 7 month old Shrek already weighs 92 pounds, so is going to be a big boy when he grows up!  He is a very playful and loving puppy that enjoys playing chase and tug-o-war with other dogs and getting tummy rubs.  He gets along great with kids, but in his puppy enthusiasm may send smaller kids flying!  He is working on his inside manners and is a very quick and eager learner.  He does not like for people to wear hats and will bark at anyone wearing a hat and act like a tough guy, so his foster family is trying to desensitize him to this and teach him that good guys wear hats too. Please join us in congratulating the Hand Family on their adoption of Shrek! Just wanted to let you, and all the rest of the Sunny Saints Family, know how happy we are that we adopted Shrek! We’ve changed his name to Otis, and he is already becoming a part of the family.

We took him to the golf course yesterday, and he was an absolute joy. He was in heaven with all of the attention he was getting, and was a very well behaved puppy. Everyone there loved him and kept asking us to continue bringing him.

He's loving running around and playing in the backyard and can’t seem to get enough of the cold weather. I’ve attached some pictures of his first couple days with us. We look forward to giving him a long, loving life.

Thanks again for helpings us find the perfect puppy!
