Steve (adoption pending)

3 year old Steve is a very special boy. He is not a dog for everyone and we will be very picky about who he goes to. He requires a calm home in which he can feel safe and secure. He's a little leary of strangers, and if someone presents with excitement, he can lunge at them, so introducing him to strangers has to be done in a calm fashion. It takes him about a minute to make up his mind if he likes you, but once he does, he's the best dog you've ever met! He loves to play with other dogs and his former owner stated that he gets along with all animals, though we haven't specifically tested him with others species.
