Wiley (forever name Roki)
Wiley was approximately 18 months old when we rescued him from a local shelter that had picked him up as a stray that was never claimed. We honestly weren’t sure how to list him for adoption so we simply referred to him as a Saint Dane ... or was that a Great Bernard? Whatever you want to call him, he was a sweet and gentle giant that loved to lean on his Foster family to get his loving time. He was very mellow when he first came into rescue, but as soon as he realized he was in a safe environment the “puppy” in Wiley began to emerge! He got along well with other dogs, but didn’t do as well with goats or chickens because they didn’t like being chased. Fortunately for Wiley the Fehn family fell in love with him and they were just the right fit! We wish Wiley and the Fehn family a lifetime of happiness together!

Here are some pictures I took of Roki this week. Turns out he is “camera shy”, hard to get a good picture of him, whenever I get the camera out he either turns his head away or runs into the other room!
