Danny (forever name Bojangles)

Danny and his sister Kristen were rescued by Sunny Saints from a local shelter where they were picked up as strays.  Danny is a total love-bug who will cover you with kisses and shower you with attention. He is great on a leash and eager to learn all the manners that he will need to be a good companion to a lucky family. He is extremely underweight (could probably stand to gain about 30 pounds) but likes to eat, so we feel that he will gain that weight back without any problem at all. He's a curly rough coat that the shelter estimated to be approximately 3 years old, but we feel is much younger.

We got him mid-May, 2011... his estimated age was 18 months but two other vets believed him to be a year and this guy is a puppy. All he ever does is with all four paws off the ground. He really is a lover boy and has lots of manners so someone taught him well!

He came from a kill shelter with his sister and we took him as a foster and of course he was a keeper! He loves living at the beach and really enjoys digging in the sand and is lucky enough to have a doggy park right across the street.

He is well loved and gives us much more love back. I am so grateful to your group for finding this wonderful boy for me. He seriously has changed our lives and brings so much joy I can't tell you. He is happy and very healthy except for the leg/knee thing we have going on, but we will get it figured out and it doesn't seem to slow him down very much because all he does is jump in the air all the time even though we try and get him not to do it... he is hysterical. Who could not love this face?
