Shadow (forever name Thatcher)
Shadow, along with his littermate sister Sassy were owner surrenders to us when their elderly owner could no longer financially or physically care for them. They were extremely thin and suffering from flea dermatitis which had caused them to lose most of their hair and have raw skin from the scratching. Shadow also suffered from entropion in one eye which we have had surgically corrected. At close to 5 years of age, they are both now healthy and gaining weight and looking for their new homes. Even though they have lived together their entire lives, they are independent, confident dogs that do not require that they stay together. Shadow is a very handsome smooth coat with hospice ears. He still thinks he's a lap dog and will climb into any willing lap he can find! He loves to go for walks (he could still use some leash manners) and play with other dogs. He is a very happy dog that gets along great with everyone and everything. He is a large boy that once filled out will weigh about 150 pounds.
