We have connected with some awesome people around the world over this past year. From Los Angeles to London, New York to South Africa, we have the social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Petfinder, and Adopt a Pet to thank for helping us to introduce ourselves to one another in order to SAVE SO MANY SAINT BERNARD'S LIVES! How can we not be thankful for such wonderful, generous, and supportive family members and friends?! Your Re-Tweets and Facebook posts were what helped us to add 52 Saints to our “Success Stories” page on our NEW Website, with another 6 “Pending Adoptions” ready to join them and a half dozen Saints who are excited about you helping them to find their forever homes! With each adoption we have proudly welcomed Families into our “Sunny Saints Family” and it is important to us that all of our Facebook and Twitter followers know that we consider you Family as well! Thank YOU to all of our Adoptive Families and to our online Sunny Saint Supporters for helping us to send our Sunny Saints HOME!
We are thankful to our Webmasters for helping us to build such an amazing Sunny Saints Website and to all of our Sunny Saints Supporters who were so patient, understanding, and helpful when their submitted applications for adoption were unexpectedly lost with the launching of the site on 11.11.11. Our new site has provided us with the forum to introduce our invaluable Volunteers and Fosters and this Thanksgiving we will be giving thanks to them. Our Volunteers and Fosters are the ones who have made these victories possible and YOU are the reason why 2012 looks even brighter!
Rescue is more than finding a dog a forever home. Expenses pile up as many of our Sunny Saints require Vet care, special diets and sometimes need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. We are thankful for all of you who have donated money to our cause, voted for us every day at The Animal Rescue Site, shopped online using “iGive,” linked your Ralphs or Food 4 Less card to Sunny Saints, or donated a Kuranda Dog Bed! We have the best Supporters any Rescue could ask for and all of us at Sunny Saints will be celebrating YOU this Thanksgiving!
