Happy New Year
We hope 2012 is a great year for everyone and that our combined efforts will continue to save the lives of the countless numbers of Saints in need of RESCUE! Because of the many families who stepped up to become Sunny Saints "Foster Families" and "Volunteers" during 2011 as well as EVERYONE who supported us in our efforts  by sharing those dogs in need of our help on Facebook and Twitter we were able to place over 60 Saints in their Forever Homes! We attribute our success to YOU and all of us at Sunny Saints THANK YOU!

During this time we realize that a lot of you are busy making New Year’s Resolutions for yourselves and it is our hope that you will share with us (below) the things that you plan to do to keep your pets happier and healthier in 2012.

WHAT IS YOUR 2012 NEW YEAR RESOLUTION?
(To become a Foster Family? Do a better job grooming your pets? Brush your pet’s teeth more often? Help your pets lose weight? Help your pets get more exercise this year?  Donate to a rescue or shelter? Volunteer your time at a local shelter or Rescue?)

Happy New Year Sunny Saints. We live in Oregon and have been happy to Tweet about your dogs and encourage others to follow you on Facebook. 1 of our resolutions is to enroll our Saint in a training class to help him be better socialized. We are so grateful for all that you do for this amazing breed. Thank you

Our daughter (age 14) has asked that we help to fight pet overpopulation by encouraging friends, family and neighbors to have their pets spayed or neutered… Sounds like a reasonable request to us… Happy New Year Sunny Saints and thanks (to you and all those who support you)!

We adopted jojo this year and in 2012 we want to get him better socialized with other dogs. We know he can do it and we are going to have to work really hard, but we have hope for his rehabilitation.

Hi Monique, I just want to give you two thumbs up for supporting JoJo as he adjusts to be a happy, relaxed & social saint. We too felt apprehensive after adopting Frankie. Our worry was him learning his name, recognizing people and dogs "body bubble" and relaxing so that people can enjoy his company. Not knowing Frankies history we decided to take it slowly and carefully. Frankie is about 5~6 yrs. old and it has been 2 years, every day and each month we look back and see that Frankie has come such a long way. We are so very proud of our big guy! Good Luck :-)

We have 2 slightly overweight dogs (a Saint and a Chihuahua) and we don’t want for them to be at risk for diseases and health problems (which we know regular exercise can help prevent) so we are making an exercise calendar to hold our family accountable to them and to our own health – wish us luck! Happy new year Sunny Saints!
